Rod Gardin - Community Focused Food Services Entrepreneur in Indiana

An Indiana community advocate and entrepreneur, Rod Gardin leads Butter & Grace LLC as its owner and CEO. Alongside his wife, he delivers food services for catering and other events, and also distributes meals charitably to those confronting food insecurity. Rod Gardin combines creativity in culinary undertakings with compassionate service, and he is continuously planning new menus and recipes. He additionally operates the Dr. Dawg! mobile hot dog cart, which has social impact through reaching those in need.

Mr. Gardin places Christianity at the center of his life, and strives to live in an ethics-driven manner. He seeks out the inherent goodness that resides in his fellow humans and makes every effort to understand people’s life situations. He is active with the American Association of Christian Counselors and has extensive experience helping those with mental health disorders and addictions restore order and purpose to their lives.

Rod Gardin holds a BS earned at Indiana University and achieved Dean's List honors across a half dozen semesters. His dissertation for his PhD in leadership at Purdue University is housed within the U.S. Library of Congress collection. He is also the author of a cookbook that combines favorite home recipes with short descriptions of his adventures in family life.
